catalyst: Taste of Summer

on Tue, 05/24/2016 - 20:26

Recorded live at http://dogglounge.com on 22 May 2016. Today was early summer; temperatures warm enough to be outside, and excellent while in the sun, but … out of the sun? Well, where’s that sun again?

Either way, the day felt like a taste of summer to come.

catalyst: spring dance

on Wed, 05/11/2016 - 15:12

Recorded live at Dogglounge on Sunday, 8 May 2016. Here in Boston, spring has not been easy to enjoy because of much rain. But today, the sun was out, and I felt like dancing with joy. So this set is a bit more House than Deep House, because it is made for dancing!

Recorded live at Dogglounge on 2016 March 27 (Easter). This was my 10th set on DL since I started my residency (though Odogg had let me play a handful before I got the residency, presumably as a tryout). It's a bit longer than usual; I had some friends sitting on an island watching a sunset, listening, and they jokingly asked me to go longer so they could enjoy the moment, and get them ready for a night out. Seriously, happy to oblige, Scott & Jana! :-)

catalyst: drift

Recorded live at Dogglounge on 2016 March 20. Spring drifted in the door for us here in the Northeast USA. Hooray!

Recording of live set played 6 March 2016 at Dogglounge Internet Radio during a live, afternoon rooftop party in Miami Beach. A bit more latin, anda bit more party than the usual for me, because .... Miami!

Tracklist available on the podcast page at Dogglounge.

PS - the podcast image is a photo my wife took in the Wynwood area of Miami, where most buildings have been used as canvas for visual artists. This photo was taken through a passageway containing an installation of air fans on the left (all painted green).
